These are the essential items to bring when buying a car:

This sounds obvious, but a lot of people forget that they need their checkbook for a down payment. If you’re not used to carrying your checkbook with you, remember to grab it before leaving the house.

Be able to prove who you are and that you can legally drive. That means bring a valid (current) driver’s license. We also need proof of residency, like with a current utility bill. We will need proof that you are insured on the vehicle before you drive it off the lot.

For your loan, we may need proof of income, which might include recent pay stubs, tax return forms, etc. Call our finance department ahead of time to see what you might need.

Lexus of Winter Park is happy to negotiate a trade-in as part of your vehicle purchase. Just be sure to bring the keys to the vehicle, the title, and the registration.
